Volunteering

Most community groups depend on the work of volunteers. This Guide helps you recruit, welcome, train, retain and recognise volunteers. If you can suggest useful resources, contact us.

We are grateful to Volunteering New Zealand's Tim Burns and Fairul Ghani for establishing this guide. Volunteering New Zealand (VNZ) is an association of volunteer centres and organisations which supports, promotes, values and encourages effective volunteering.

• VolunteerNet - new online volunteer management tool for events

  VolunteerNet is a new website to help connect volunteers with event-based volunteering opportunities, while at the same time providing a free online volunteer recruitment and management tool for event organisers.
