View existing constitutions, deeds and rules

The Societies Office holds information about trusts and societies. This includes Constitutions and Trust Deeds, and it can be very helpful to read the deeds of existing organisations with a similar purpose to yours.

To view the deed of an organisation:

1. Click this link to open the Societies website in a new browser window.
2. Click on "Search the Register", in the left hand menu.
3. Click on "Register Search".
4. Enter the organisation's name in the box, and wait for the register search.
5. Double click on the organisation in the "Results" box to show the organisations details. 
6. Scroll down to "Documents Registered" looking for "Amendment of Trust Deed" or similar link. Double click to open, or right click to save it. It will usually be in Adobe PDF format.
