Open Licence Charity

Approved charities must provide their IRD Certification of Tax Exemption when placing their order with an authorised Open License Charity reseller. The customer simply needs to purchase a minimum of 5 licenses — either for one or a combination of Microsoft software products.

For a list of authorised Microsoft Open License Charity resellers and more about the Open License Charity program visit the Microsoft web site at

Microsoft Authorised Refurbisher (MAR) Donation Programme

Note: A non-profit PC refurbisher with MAR status has not yet been established in New Zealand.

Microsoft's Authorised Refurbisher (MAR) Programme helps organisations donate or sell refurbished PCs to charities, community groups or disadvantaged individuals who are lacking access to technology.
