Māori organisational governance studies
These two joint Te Puni Kōkiri/ Federation of Māori Authorities studies each contain 10 case studies from a range of for-profit and not-for-profit Māori organisations.
Case studies in the 2003 and 2004 reports include charitable trusts, commercial companies, trusts established under Te Ture Whenua Māori Land Act 1993, and other bodies established by statute.
The case studies look at a range of issues such as: the organisation's purpose; governing body, business environment, issues for the future; relationships with stakeholders and shareholders; and Māori organisational characteristics.
