Research report for fundseekers

Research by the Funder Collaboration Research & Scoping Project explores ways in which funders can make the process of applying for grants, and accounting for them, simpler.

In 2008, a number of grantmakers worked together to produce a research and scoping paper on making things simpler for fundseekers.

The research, prepared by Adrian Feasey, explores ways in which funders can make the process of applying for grants, and accounting for them, simpler.

It was produced for a group of organisations with an interest in the funding of community agencies in Waitakere: Community Waitakere, J R McKenzie Trust, Tindall Foundation, Waitakere City Council, Waitakere Licensing Trusts and ASB Community Trust.

We hope it will encourage funders – individually and together with other funders – to look for opportunities to make their processes more user-friendly.

A four-page summary and Adrian Feasey's full 68-page report are available for download from: http://www.waitakere.govt.nz/cnlser/fn/index.asp#report
