2004 Forums Archive

In 2004, the Community Sector Taskforce held a series of Regional and National Forums, and sector discussions. This page links to information about the forums, kept for historical  purposes.

At these forums, the draft Declaration for the Community Sector, and draft Concepts for a leadership model/entity for the Community Sector was discussed. See below for links to the drafts.

2004 Community Forum Background Information 

The Community Sector Taskforce (CST) – working alongside Te Wero, the Maori Action Group - was established in order to further the recommendations identified within He Waka Kotuia, the report of the 2002 Community-Government Relationship Steering Committee.

2004 DRAFT Concepts of leadership model/entity 

This draft for discussion at the forums, suggested the purposes, fundamentals, values, assumptions, structure, and resourcing for an entity to follow on from the Taskforce.
