The Community Sector Taskforce was established in 2003 as a result of work by the Community-Government Relationship Steering Group. The Taskforce is an independent Treaty-based body of ten community representatives, mandated to continue the work developed by the joint community sector and government working parties (2000 - 2002) to develop the relationship between government and the sector.
