Description
VSA is currently looking for people with the following skills to work overseas.
Travel is organised and funded by VSA. Free accommodation and insurance is provided. Volunteers receive a living allowance and initial, midterm (for two-year assignments) and resettlement grants.
VSA volunteers must be New Zealand citizens or have New Zealand permanent residency status and preferably have lived in New Zealand for at least two years.
Horticulture and Marketing Adviser, SAMOA
Support the development of horticultural production, and create sustainable income generation in the village of Poutasi.
Marketing Adviser, SOLOMON ISLANDS
Provide support and advice to the growing marketing team at Soltai Fishing and Processing.
Engineering Project Manager, KIRIBATI
Support the implementation of a Rainwater Harvesting system and a Solid Waste Management plan to improve the urban environment on Kiritimati Island.
Human Resources Adviser, PAPUA NEW GUINEA
Advise on the development of HR policies and procedures, strategic plans, and staff training schemes, at Wide Bay Conservation Association.
Urban Planning Adviser, PAPUA NEW GUINEA
Support sustainable urban development in Kimbe, West New Britain.
Disability Programme Manager, PAPUA NEW GUINEA
Support the promotion of community based rehabilitation and disability services for people in East New Britain.
Health Funding Adviser, BOUGAINVILLE
Support the expansion and management of a direct funding scheme that improves accessibility to health services in Bougainville.
