Childsafe Guide for Organisations

Child abuse prevention organisation Child Matters has produced a Childsafe Guide to help organisations develop policies and procedures to ensure they are child safe.

The step-by-step online guide is aimed at all organisations, clubs, NGOs and groups that have an involvement with children.

It provides a valuable process that will help your organisation develop a comprehensive child protection policy, helping to ensure that you manage risk and protect your staff.

The Childsafe Guide provides:

• a process for evaluating how child safe your organisation currently is, as well as for developing robust plans to protect the children in your care
• A framework to develop a comprehensive child protection policy that will ensure your organisation has child safe people, child safe practices and child safe training
• Advice about important issues.
