The popular Community Development Resource Kit has been completely revised and refocussed, and will be launched as the 'Community Resource Kit' at the NZCOSS conference.
This comprehensive resource kit has been produced by the Department of Internal Affairs and MSD's Family and Community Services. It provides a guide to people setting up and running community groups in New Zealand.
Topics covered include planning, employment, financial management and an introduction to the community sector. The kit's content complements 'Keeping it Legal' and 'Managing Well' to provide three great sources of information to help community groups.
The revised kit will be launched on 17 October 2006 in Ashburton, and will be available online on CommunityNet Aotearoa after that date.
