The Ministry of Health is seeking applications for the Pacific Health Leadership Development Programme 2006. Applications close on 31 January 2006.
The programme is intended to develop the leadership capability of existing and emerging health sector leaders with a commitment to improved health outcomes for Pacific peoples.
In 2006 the programme will be delivered by an interdisciplinary team from the University of Canterbury's Macmillan Brown Centre for Pacific Studies, Health Sciences Centre and College of Management, and Niu Vision Group Ltd.
The programme will complement other leadership and management development initiatives available in the health sector, such as LAMP, and encourage the participation of senior Pacific health personnel in these programmes. A key feature of the programme will be its discussion of Pacific models of leadership.
