People First videos

Two videos about the journey People First has been through to becoming established.

Together we will make it. Footage of the first People First conference held in Rotorua in 1991. It shows members speaking up and saying what they wanted for themselves in their lives and for People First. This is when the members wanted to get People First to be an independent organisation.

This is People First. In this video members talk about the process of being set up as independent organisation. It also shows members saying how People First has helped them and others with intellectual disabilities.
