Help: Training Notice Form

Heading

The name of the training course, event or resource. Keep it short (no more than 6-7 words). Long title information can be expanded in the Description box.

The Heading and Organisation boxes, and the first couple of lines of the Description box are displayed on the Training notices page. Use them to give a short summary of the event with crucial information such as the date, location and cost (information in the "Town" and "Date" boxes does not show up on the summary pages, only in the full text of your announcement.

Town

Where the event will take place.

Date

The date or dates when the event will take place. Leave blank for a resource such as a manual.

Description

A description of the event or resource. If there is a cost, include this early in the description so it can be read in the "Training notices" page. You can include key details such as speakers and sessions, accommodation details, venue details, information on your target audience etc.

The name of the person who can answer enquiries about the event.

Website address

An address where more information about the event or resource can be found. Link directly to the page with information rather than just the home page of the organisation. "Http://" at the beginning of the website address is inserted automatically and should NOT be included in your entry.

Submitted by

Name of the person or organisation submitting the information.

Submit

Careful! - once submitted you will be able to view the text of your event announcement, but you cannot edit it after this submitting- so check carefully first. This view does not show paragraph breaks, and does not show your website address as a live link, but these will format automatically in the final version. If it is necessary to change something then you can contact the webmaestro.

Removing Notices

Events will be automatically removed after the date of the event. Other notices will usually stay on line for a year. If you wish to remove or change your announcement before this just Contact Us.
